Here's the fine compilation of early tracks released by The Beloved just before they moved to a major label. Alongside the two Peel Sessions this encompasses my favourite period of the band's work ...when they were a band! The poppier stuff on the initial Warners releases is okay but doesn't come close when compared to their melancholic prime.
