Wasted Youth - Wild And Wandering [BHCD 001 UK 2005 FLAC]
Wasted Youth were only around between 1979 and 1982, they managed a couple of albums and a bunch of seven inch singles. They were best known for having a single produced by Martin Hannett and did better outside their native East London, however their legacy is likely long lost as I would suggest they are one of the great forgotten post-punk bands. They were around when it mattered and not many noticed. Here is their debut album Wild And Wandering courtesy of a reissue compact disc - well done to their label Bridge House Records for resisting the need to compress and amplify the original masters. There was another version on Cherry Red Records a few years later, however I am fearful about how that sounds given the label's track record with the CD format.
