Shriekback - Peel Sessions And Singularities [CDR UK 2018 FLAC]

You too may have picked up a copy of Peel Sessions And Singularities from the band last year on the assumption that these would have been taken from the original masters, however sadly they were not. Most of the Peel tracks are compressed and limited versions of files seeded to Dimeadozen over the years and nearly all the single rarities are ripped badly from vinyl (pops, crackles and all). As somebody who rips vinyl as a hobby, I'd say the mastering work is at best shoddy! All the same, any compilation album which features the magnificent Accretions twice is still a worthy album in my book.
