Sink Ya Teeth - Sink Ya Teeth [HB 07CD 2018 FLAC]
If you have even a passing interest in the last 40 years of dance culture, Norwich duo Sink Ya Teeth’s debut album is sure to sound familiar and that's the point. Their self-titled album is a veritable archive of au courant reference points: the rubbery basslines of Liquid Liquid, ESG’s call-and-response dance-punk, the alluring menace of dark disco, New Order’s synthetic ecstasy, the cold atmospherics of electro.

ReplyDeleteNew album imminent. Try and get to to see these to, they are really very good and are definitely appreciative of their past influences. They are a really lovely humble pair too, I talked to Maria about her guitar and asked if it was the actual "Factory" item in all the JD and Cabs vids. She was surprised I knew my stuff and had been watching (Ofcourse I'd been watching, how can I not watch they are a mesmerising due to say the least.). Oh btw, it's not the same guitar!!!
