When I was a lad, Magic by Circle City Band was a huge floor filler at the rather exclusive Saturday night club that myself and a few friends used to blag our way into after a few drinks in the watering holes of gloomy Manchester. The record itself was as rare as rocking horse poop, so imagine my delight when a tiny US label reissued everything by Circle City Band on compact disc at the turn of the last decade.
