Dennis Young was the the percussionist in New Jersey post-punk funk band, Liquid Liquid. After they disbanded in 1985, he continued to record music at his home studio in Edison, New Jersey. His later recordings have a jazz feel yet still had dance music elements mixed in. The Athens Of The North label have dug deeply into his archives to produce this fine compilation, most of which would have never found an audience if it was not for the label's endeavors.
