You'll forgive me if I only tinker around the edges of francophone music. As a Celt brought up in an anglophile world, much of my listening remains free of French culture and influences. I heard this recently on my travels and was immediately transfixed by the mix of classical harp, percussion and gwo ka music from the tiny French island of Guadeloupe.
